Here at Colonial Carpentry Innovations, historic homes are seen as an exciting mystery. During every project within a historic home, we are able to uncover practices from years past. With this, every home tells a unique story making all of them have different needs. This helps create a mindset of creativity during our problem solving which stretches throughout our team.
An owner at CCI, Bob Szklarz, is currently a committee member for The Sycamore House, built in 1788, and The Rawson House, built in 1733, both of which are located in South Hadley, Ma. Bob, having a love of history, has expressed that his work on historic homes fulfills his desire to help preserve these irreplaceable parts of a town’s history. Whether it is something that needs to be repaired or replaced, we are skilled in keeping the look and feel of these historic buildings.
